Rosie Powley
Vet - Ripon
A bit about me...
Rosie joined us at Bishopton in September 2025 after graduating from the University of Liverpool. Rosie grew up on her family farm in Green Hammerton - she still enjoys helping out in her spare time and loves working with the cattle (especially her show bull Chief). Most people assumed Rosie would be a farm vet, but she developed a strong interest in Small Animal practice whilst on her rotations and EMS placements (including here at Bishopton).
Rosie has a keen interest in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery, and hopes to complete a certificate in one of these areas in the future.
Did you know?
Rosie is keen to get back into horse riding, a hobby she enjoyed before starting university. She also loves playing netball and now that she is home she is looking forward to joining a team again and competing in league matches.
