Registered Veterinary Nurse

We're looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and experienced small animal team. Whether you're an experienced RVN or newly qualified, we'd love to hear from you. Both full-time and part-time applications are welcome. 

 

 

Our nurses are at the heart of everything we do. You will work alongside an experienced team of RVNs, SVNs and Veterinary Care Assistants, supported by vets with Advanced Practitioner status in medicine, surgery and general practice.

We actively encourage professional development, giving you the opportunity to expand your skills while delivering outstanding patient care.

Our facilities include:
• Recently upgraded ultrasound scanner
• Video endoscopy
• Weekly access to a visiting CT service
• Fully integrated in-house laboratory
• Separate dog, cat and isolation wards
• Modern surgical and medical facilities

The Role
This is a varied nursing role covering all aspects of small animal practice, including:
• Surgical nursing
• Medical nursing
• Nurse consultations and practice nursing
• Inpatient care
• Client support and education

The role is based across our Ripon hospital and our Northallerton and Thirsk branches.
You'll take part in a fair share of weekend and bank holiday out-of-hours duties. Our dedicated night team covers one week in every three, with only occasional holiday or sickness cover required.

• A Registered Veterinary Nurse (or due to qualify soon)

31 days holiday (includes 8 Bank Holidays) pro rata, per annum.
