Ruth has joined Bishopton Vets in 2023 .
Sariah enjoys working in our Pateley Bridge Surgery and loves meeting the clients and their pets.
Alex grew up on a mixed farm with a pack of dogs, cats, chickens, small furries and ponies. She worked in hospitality for sixteen years before opting for a change of path and found herself in the veterinary world when she joined Bishopton in 2017.
One of Alex's roles within the practice is handling the small animal insurance claims. This involves seeing the claims all the way through from the initial logging of the claims forms, processing claims, speaking with clients and insurance companies to recording the received payments.
Wendy joined Bishopton in 2018 as a Client Care Assistant at our Easingwold surgery. She enjoys all aspects of the role enjoying getting to know clients and their pets and loves to get involved with handling pets for the vets when required.
Outside of work, Lauren is a busy Mum to 4 boys and in any spare time she has, she is the lead singer in a band and has a keen interest in theatre and enjoys taking part in pantomines!
Viv was born in the North East and has lived in Barnsley, York, South Africa and Lancashire before settling in Ripon a few years ago now.
Viv has worked in hospitality, the insurance industry and local government. She specialised in finance and is a qualified Accounting Technician.
Jackie joined Bishopton three and a half years ago as a Client Care Assistant and enjoys every minute of her job! A local lady Jackie has lived in Ripon all her life and has three grown up daughters.
Henry joined the Client Care Team in 2023 and enjoys meeting all the clients.
After finishing a degree in Youth and Community Education Sara spent over 10 years working in the homelessness sector in London. After becoming a mum (x2) she moved into the education sector and her last post was a pastoral and safeguarding role within a large North London sixth form.
Sara is now excited to join the team at Bishopton Vets
Angie joined our Client Care Team in July 2021 after spending 24 years in Early Years Education at a local nursery, many of those years, as a deputy manager.
Emelia has a mischievous cat named Gizmo, who she rescued as a kitten last year. In her spare time she enjoys reading and baking. Her favourite food and drink are chocolate and coffee – she couldn't survive without either!
