Puppy Socialisation

We are passionate about helping people understand their dogs better. The aim of our socialisation classes is to enhance your training skills and strengthen your relationship with your dog. Our puppy socialisation classes are held at our Thirsk surgery by experienced RVNs Lucy Robinson & Olivia Hudson. 

 

  • Venue: Thirsk surgery, Wednesdays 6pm to 7pm
  • For puppies 10 - 16 weeks of age
  • Puppies need to be fully vaccinated* and be fit and well. (Puppies from 10 weeks can attend as long as they have had their second DHP vaccine).
  • Puppy socialisation is designed to give your puppy introductions to other dogs and people in a safe and controlled manner.
  • This early stage in their lives is a really special time where correct socialisation and habituation is key to helping your puppy grow into a confident and happy adult dog.
  • They will be able to explore a varied environment that helps develop motor skills, brain developement and confidence.
  • Maximum 4 puppies per class
  • 60 minute session
  • Block of 4 one hour long sessions across 4-weeks.
  • £33 per puppy for the 4-week block.

    *To enable earlier socialisation puppies can have their first vaccination at 8 weeks (DHP & L4), their second DHP vaccine at 10 weeks and their final L4 vaccine at 12 weeks. Puppies can attend as soon as they have had their second DHP vaccine.
