Lifetime Care Club - Test & Treat

We are delighed to announce that we are offering a new option within our Lifetime Care Club range - Test & Treat. This is a very different concept to our Lifetime Care Club Complete and involves testing to see if vaccination or parasiticides are required rather than preventative treatments.

This plan is available for both cats and dogs and costs £19.50 per month. Under our Test & Treat plan you would be required to drop off quarterly faecal samples and bring your pet in for an annual blood test which would be sent away for testing. Based on the results you would then be advised of any parasitic or vaccination requirements. In addition we would perform an annual blood sample to check levels of immunity prior to considering vaccination. NB Leptospirosis vaccine is recommended and included wthin our Test & Treat plan).

It remains our best recommendation to vaccinate your pet(s) annually and to provide year-round comprehensive parasite protection because of the potentail risk to their health and your family's health if these treatments are not provided. However, we understand that there is another pathway and we would like to support any clients who would like to explore a test and treat approach instead.

Disclaimer: If test results identified the need for vaccinations or treatments the pet owner would be liable for these additional costs less the 10% discount.

We strongly recommend that puppies and kittens receive their primary vaccination course, plus their first annual booster as an absolute minimum and also receive parasite treatment (as per our normal product options and frequency) for at least the first 6-months of life. Therefore puppies and kittens should initially sign up to Lifetime Care Club Complete and NOT the Test & Treat option.
