Modern research shows that acupuncture can be very helpful in providing relief for the following symptoms in our pets without risk of side effects:-

  • Muscular skeletal conditions
  • Arthritis
  • Some skin problems
  • Back problems
  • Incontinence
  • Chronic pain
  • Chronic diarrhoea

At Bishopton Veterinary Group, we are able to offer acupuncture as a complementary treatment for cats, dogs and horses, either used on its own or with conventional therapy.

Acupuncture is well tolerated by most pets. A typical course of acupuncture would include 3 – 4 appointments at weekly intervals each lasting about 30 minutes.

Acupuncture is carried out by vets at both Ripon and Easingwold surgeries.

Initial appointment £51.00

Subsequent appointment £40.80
